Welcome to Halidon Primary School's Japanese web page.
2020 has seen both our daily lives and the way we are educating our children change in significant ways. I am aiming to keep our students' engagement in their Japanese language learning positive and this website is the main forum I will use to share as many support materials as possible.
Tasks will be set each week via each class' Seesaw account and this is where students can upload photos, videos, scans or digital copies of their work. Work will not need to be returned weekly but please complete the tasks at a time that is suitable for your family.
If possible, please use siblings to support each other with their speaking and reading practice. Learning a language is a social experience. Initially the tasks are mostly revision, as students get used to this new way of learning and to rebuild their confidence. New content will be delivered as we become more comfortable with this learning style. If you have any queries or difficulties, please send me an email.
Regards, Sensei
