Language Perfect World Championships results
What an amazing 10 days we have just had with the Language
Perfect World Championships.Our
students answered 91 779 questions, earning a grand total of 31 441 points. We
came 528th in the world and 55th in WA but more
impressive is our place of 11th for Japanese in WA schools out of 86
The statistics get even better.
In the Japanese Language Teachers’ of WA competition, Banksia
Park was ranked 6th when looking at the raw scores. However, the schools which
beat us all have many more students, the first placed school had 699 students
registered, compared to our 61 students.On average their students earned 206 points each. Banksia Park students
scored an average of 505 points each, putting us in second place behind

Calligraphy Contest:Students in Areas 11, 12, 8 and 10 competed in a traditional calligraphy
contest, writing the Kanji character for sheep, as this year is Year of the
Sheep.Congratulations to Ruby P,
